Free online math practice divisions8/7/2023 The woebegone NFC South might not have a ton going for it in 2023 - every team ranks 22nd or worse in the FPI - but it is very much up for grabs. Three divisions emerged from the projections as especially close. Tight races in NFC South, NFC North and AFC East (We've altered the model a few times in that period, so it's not a direct apples-to-apples comparison.) The 2016 Packers were just 12% favorites (lowest), while the 2017 Patriots were at 32%, the strongest by a massive margin. FPI has made preseason predictions going back to 2015, and 14% is the second lowest for a favorite we've had in that time period. That the Eagles are the favorites at just 14% is an indication that this season is a little more wide open than most. The 49ers, Bills and Bengals round out the top five, while the Dallas Cowboys are the only other team above 5% (7%). The Chiefs also face quite the gauntlet of a schedule in the regular season - second toughest in the league, according to FPI - which dampens their projections despite being the best team in football by almost a full point. That's a big reason Philadelphia leads Kansas City in Super Bowl chances, 14% to 13%. The median AFC playoff team in our simulations is roughly 2.4 points per game better than the median NFC playoff team. Despite a lack of clarity at quarterback with Brock Purdy recovering from elbow surgery, their roster and Kyle Shanahan's offensive playcalling are strong enough to justify a high rating. Rounding out the top five are the San Francisco 49ers. at left tackle to shore up its biggest weakness. The Cincinnati Bengals are fourth in FPI rating, as they return their key offensive triumvirate of Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. ![]() (The Detroit Lions, who ranked fourth in the category, are 11th in FPI because of a much weaker defense and perhaps less confidence in Jared Goff repeating his excellent 2022 campaign.) ![]() Offensively, they are just too good, and that alone is enough to put the Super Bowl champs back atop the league to begin this coming season.Īfter Kansas City, the pattern holds - the Buffalo Bills and Eagles were the two next-best teams in offensive EPA per play last season, and they rank Nos. They are also returning their two most important ingredients in Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid. 1? Offense is more stable year-to-year than defense, and the Chiefs led the league in expected points added per play last season by a wide margin. Schedule strength | Surprises | Draft order Let's take a closer look at the initial 2023 ratings, including storylines emerging from these numbers. Game predictions are also informed by factors such as travel, rest differential and changes at starting quarterback. We use team ratings to simulate the season thousands of times, creating our projections, which update every day during the season. In the preseason, the model's predictive ratings are based substantially on win totals from Caesars Sportsbook and strength of schedule, along with factors such as past team performance and returning starters. But interestingly, the model actually views the Philadelphia Eagles - who lost to the Chiefs in the title game last season - as the Super Bowl favorite. It's a result of the vast difference in quality between the NFL's two conferences: The AFC is loaded with talent, while the NFC appears to have only a few contenders, paving the way for Philly.įor the uninitiated, the Football Power Index - commonly referred to as the FPI - is our rating and projection model for NFL teams. 1 team in ESPN's Football Power Index rankings for the 2023 NFL season. From there, they will give you a preview of what your LANDR-mastered track will sound like. You want to navigate to the ‘Master’ tab, where you can upload your song(s). Once you head to, you will be met with their homepage, usually advertising a subscription or distribution plan. How Does LANDR Mastering Work? How Much Does It Cost? LANDR mastering feels more in-depth than other services we’ve used to master mixes, which explains the cost. We like how they offer revisions (unlimited with a ‘Studio’ plan), which allow you to add bass, bring up or down mid-frequencies, tweak low or high frequencies, edit vocal levels, and all that jazz. The sheer quality difference in sound between a LANDR mastered track and one made from Logic Pro or Pro Tools, etc., pale in comparison. LANDR has various plans for artists, labels, and creatives wanting to improve their projects’ sound: which is great for any budget. However, in terms of audio mastering and quality: LANDR is one of the best choices for people not wanting to spend hundreds-thousands on an audio engineer. Think of this website/brand as an all-in-one spot to tweak your tracks and even send them to streaming. They offer yearly subscriptions for artists to edit songs, promote music, and even offer distribution services. In recent years, LANDR has become a major player in the online music world. Overall, LANDR music mastering does a nice job.Īs long as your original mixed song has proper levels and you aren’t drowning in bass or low-quality vocals: LANDR can put an “industry” touch on your sound. Imdb long road home8/7/2023 It’s not that darkness isn’t a part of the film, but that “The Short History of the Long Road” approaches even the most tense interaction with a bent toward positivity in all people. With Clint gone, Simon-Kennedy folds in a steady stream of new supporting stars to challenge Nola - it’s never a question that Cheryl will eventually be one of them, but Simon-Kennedy and the film spin their wheels for far too long before she enters, played by a restrained Maggie Siff - with most of them treating the scared teen with necessary kindness. Supernatural: The Long Road Home Synopsis Supernatural: The Long Road Home is a special documentary-style episode looking back on the entire history of Supernatural. While early scenes of Carpenter emoting don’t quite works, the actress grows into the character over time, even as Nola seems less capable of understanding herself than ever. ![]() IMDB1 Home News Tomorrow: Movie Night XV Is Sat May 6 7pm ET 4pm PT. And then a sudden tragedy pulls them apart forever, and a terrified Nola must strike out on her own. Though its 11-season-long TV spin-off/reworking ultimately bested it in quality. It may sound romantic, but it’s also claustrophobic, and as Clint brusquely gets up in the middle of a movie (that’s how short his attention span is) and Nola gazes off at a pack of “normal” teenage girls, it’s clear that the divide is deepening between them. Without a formal education, Nola has still thrived, eagerly devouring all sorts of books, though her father’s resistance to settling down means she’s never had her own library card, instead filching textbooks when she’s able. Nola’s mom is long gone - as Clint puts, “she zigged, and we zagged” - and is only referred to as “Cheryl,” and only in stilted conversation. Their entire life is each other and their trusty Westfalia van, which ably carries them on their many journeys (for most of the film, those trips are confined to the stunning American Southwest). Nola and Clint have been on the road so long that teenage Nola can’t even remember a home without wheels. Where to Watch This Week’s New Movies, from ‘Past Lives’ to ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ While Simon-Kennedy’s characters occasionally avoids the cliches of similar movies, nothing about the film’s plotting surprises, as Nola aimlessly drives in search of what eventually amounts to a found family. In Ani Simon-Kennedy’s pleasant, if predictable “ The Short History of the Long Road,” the cracks between what Nola ( Sabrina Carpenter) and Clint (Steven Ogg) want are showing long before they’re blown wide open.Ī meandering coming of age tale that quite literally pushes off into unexpected diversions, “The Short History of the Long Road” doesn’t blaze new trails, but it does provide a platform for Carpenter’s evolving performance and Simon-Kennedy’s skilled eye. Like "Last House", this film is scary because of its realism. While watching this film, I told myself I had finally found the spiritual successor to "Last House on the Left" and my opinion remains the same. But Auffarth accepts the role and does an amazing job of being the normal "girl next door". Most actresses would say no to the torture, rape and beatings contained in this film. Some of the scenes in this film are truly awful - not acted awful, mind you, but are just visually repellent. First, let me say that Blythe Auffarth (who plays Meg Loughlin) is an amazing actress. After telling the police about mistreatment, Meg's punishment becomes more and more severe. Ruth is not like the other parents: she allows the neighborhood children to smoke and drink, and has an intense dislike for Meg - for no real reason. Meg Loughlin's parents are dead, causing her and her sister to live with their aunt Ruth. I really hope there's a hell dark enough with sadistic enough eternal torture for those who committed the acts portrayed here. One might be able to appreciate it as a film, but not enjoy it. I will never recommend this film to anyone, except people who have emotional problems, feel numb and unable to experience emotions. The fact that this is based on a true story and real events - makes it even more shocking. all put together create a sick and traumatizing experience. This film is a proof that immense implication of violence always leaves a harder mark than graphic violence and gore. Watching this makes you wanna curl inside yourself and cry like a child, or scream and go on a rampage. I'm a grown man, and I had to continuously remind myself that it was just a film and not real. There's barely any blood, and still - I have never, ever been more shocked and disturbed over a film. ![]() If you've ever thought a person could be cruel, abusive, and plain down right evil - The Girl Next Door will teach you that you haven't seen anything yet. That was what I wanted to do to the characters of this film (except the one protagonist of course). It's been a while since I felt the urge to scream, pick up the computer screen and bash it to pieces. The entire film is one long psychological torture, leaving the audience desperate, enraged, frustrated and helpless. This film squeezed my soul to the point of trauma. I've "survived" Martyrs, The Inside and Murder Set Pieces. I'm pretty experienced with the genre, and I don't scare or shock easily.

Warspear online pvp8/6/2023 ![]() It is best enjoyed with friends, so get a few mates on this adventure with you. ![]() Warspear is a game that looks and plays like a classic MMORPG, complete with the charm and challenge of games from previous generations the eight-bit style isn’t there to fool anyone either. Sounds like a fellow in need of a swift beating. The Snow Boundary comes with four new bosses and the raid boss Chernobog, Lord of cold and darkness. Recently there was this winter patch dropping right in time for the holidays, featuring a new holiday island with tons of quests. This isn’t one that you’ll beat in a few days, and some quests may get a tad repetitive, but you should play it in short bursts after a hard day’s work, for example, to enjoy it the most. There’s a bit of a grind to the game but no shortage of tasks to help you level up your character. You are a brave warrior who has to prove his might by slaughtering every living or undead creature that you stumble across, delivering quest after quest as you explore several islands. Warspear isn’t a game where great things fall on your lap. When you reach level 18, something that is going to take you quite some time, you unlock expert skills. This is how you allocate those points, so if you were clicking on amplify or some other option, that is an entirely different thing. In case the same happens to you, here’s how you go about it – you need to choose the skill you want to upgrade and click that menu button, followed by study skill. You can use these to upgrade your skills and grow stronger, but this feature had me stomped for a while. In your quest to become a hero, you unlock skill points every few levels. Man, this isn’t a world in need a hero, it needs pest control. All those little persons walking around, the countless foes and innocent animals that you can sacrifice for the sake of your heroic progress… and rats, rats and other rodents everywhere. Your first sighting will be the eight-bit graphics, which look pretty cool and colorful on full-blown PC monitors, although they truly shine on the smaller screens of mobile devices. ![]() It’s cool how the pieces of equipment change the look of your character, a touch that we usually take for granted, but that many games are neglecting due to laziness or rushed releases.Īs soon as you step into the world of Arinar, you’re entering a raging war, because no game begins with a world at peace. However, character creation is straightforward, with only a few choices for gender, hairstyle, and hair color before you begin the adventure. ![]() There is a decent level of customization to your character, with all the skills, upgrades, equipment that you can enchant, and so on. This adds up to a total of 16 classes including but not limited to the Ranger, Druid, Death Knight, Necromancer, Mage, and a few more. There are two alliances and four races: The Firstborn and Chosen versus Mountain Clans and Forsaken. But hey, your adventure, your choice.īut first, let’s talk classes. It’s the embodiment of open world as it should always be, because you’ll be able to travel places in no time, and possibly get crushed in the process, as you need to level up in a consistent way, not move around like a fool. It looks like those classic Zelda games but with a full-fledged online aspect to it, with guilds and PvP and all that jazz, as you and dozens of other players explore the many regions of the game world. Warspear is a cool old-school MMORPG with retro graphics.

Vinyl gates8/6/2023 ![]() Much like the privacy type, driveway security gates are designed to provide protection from unwanted intruders on to your property. Driveway Security Gatesĭriveway security gate – See at Amazon They are more often than not designed to be just as attractive just without any design touches that create open space. It should be noted that these gates aren’t simple, solid walls. Gates such as these are usually rather tall as well to ensure no one looks over the top either. These gates are solid rather than allowing anyone to view from one side into another. The answer to these homeowner’s wishes is the use of a privacy driveway gate. Some prefer a gate that functions much like a privacy fence not allowing outside parties to see past the gate and into the homeowner’s property. However, they aren’t what everyone wants from a driveway gate. While decorative gates that use shapes to allow individuals to see through the gate to the other side can be beautiful. As an example, if you are trying to create a double swing gate of 16 feet across, you would use a pair of gates that are 8 feet long individually. To keep the gates visually appealing, these gates should be the same size. Together, these gates have the same recommended width as a single swing gate but that measurement is split between the two gates. Double driveway gates are made up of two gates much like a pair of french doors. Some gate operators do allow for a gate of 20 feet or less in width.ĭouble swing gates are the choice many go with due to their more elegant design. These are typically recommended to be 16 feet wide or less. This includes a single swing gate or a set of double swing gates.Ī single swing gate is made up of a single gate much like a bedroom door. There are two main types of swinging driveway gates. This hydraulic lift raises the gates slightly before opening them and continues to raise them as they open the rest of the way. Lift and swing gates employ the use of a hydraulic lift. ![]() Before going into how these gates work, it’s worth noting that these are rather expensive compared to other swing gates due to the technology involved. Lift and swing gates are another option that is great if you live in an area where you deal with a lot of snow which would impede the gates swing. These gates are rather difficult to install and if you want them, it’s best to leave it to the professionals to avoid any problems that come along with the fickleness of this type of swinging driveway gates. These gates are made to open to accommodate the elevating ground they are opening on. Swing Gates for Sloped Drivewaysįor those with sloped driveways, there are a few extra options. However, there are some designs that can accommodate a sloping driveway bu may require specialized installation. Consider this: if the driveway isn’t entirely flat, there is a chance that while opening or closing a swinging gate could scrape the ground or even get stuck. So, you can only really consider swinging driveway gates if your driveway is rather level. Swing gates are also gates that generally need to be installed on a flat plane. They don’t swing out so far as to make a line with the driveway opening, so they don’t take up too much extra room. This is due to the fact that most swinging driveway gates open by moving the gates in a 90-degree arc inward or outward. It is a good idea to add a few extra feet for extra assurance of safety, though.Īs far as the width of space you need for these gates, it usually isn’t that much more the width of the gate or gates themselves. ![]() At the very least, this recess should accommodate the gate’s swing. This way, when they open they will remain on your property rather than blocking the flow of traffic. If you do want gates that open outward rather than inward, make sure to set them at a recess to the road. Instead, you will want to open these gates towards the house where they are less likely to cause an issue. Put another way, if you have swinging driveway gates at the end of your driveway, you don’t want to open these gates towards the road. These driveway gates work exactly as the name suggests they swing open and closed to allow cars into and out of the driveway just like a door swings open or closed to let someone in or out of a room.Īn absolutely crucial note to make when installing swinging driveway gates is that you don’t want them to swing open to block traffic. Driveway Swing Gatesįirst, let’s take a look at driveway swing gates. Each of these gates also requires a different amount of space to install and use. In fact, there are a number of types of gates on the market. When it comes to types of driveways, and their gates you aren’t limited to one type of design. |
